What's so great about minky fabric?

You’ve heard the name but do you know what Minky fabric is? If not, you’ve come to the right place.

Minky is a fur like knit fabric that’s made of 100% polyester (no animals were harmed in the making of these blankets).

 

Since minky fibers are so fine, it’s super soft! With proper care, that softness doesn’t decrease over time so you’ll have years to enjoy it. Who doesn’t love a soft blanket? We’ve never met anyone so we can only assume that everyone does. 

Our blankets aren’t weighted but you’ll definitely feel a similar comforting pressure from minky blankets. Our XL throw blankets come in around 9 pounds! That’s slightly more than the average queen size down comforter.
